Firstly thank you so much for visiting my page!   I'm Jolyn,  a wife, mother and artist, just to name a few. My love of photography came from me wanting to capture my boys in an honest, raw and authentic way.  I don’t buy into the idea of perfection, especially when it comes to love and family life, let's be honest, it doesn’t exist.

I do my best to run my session in a relaxed and fun way. My clients often tell me how comfortable I make them feel, this means so much to me as I believe this to be one of the most important aspects of taking great portrait images. I'm pretty laid back and often find myself saying very little during a session all the while capturing those authentic moments that are unfolding naturally. When guidance is needed I will step in, however don't be alarmed if you feel your photography session is nothing more than quality time spent with your family.

I guess you could say I am a bit of an adventure seeker, I'm happy to go along with any crazy plans you may have or if you prefer something a little more subdue,  I can work with that. I don't believe one size fits all and will tailor your session to meet your needs, no one session is the same.

If your still reading no doubt your have seen my work and you will realise my style is not the perfectly posed image of you all smiling at the camera. I want to capture the love and connection you share with each other. The way your child gazes at you or the tiny toes of your newborn. I want you to feel emotion deep from within when you look back on these images in years to come.
